Sir Alfredo Pascua Acierto, KCR of the Chicago Chapter is the oldest knight in the world – he is also the oldest living Filipino in the United States and the whole world.

He was born on October 27, 1903 in Candon, Ilocos Sur. His parents Fausto Acierto and Bernardina Pascua had three sons and three daughters.

Married to Dr. Maria Guillen, they have a daughter Mary and sons Robert and Alfredo, Jr. with six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  Sir Al at 104 years old lives with his family in Chicago, Illinois.

On the occasion of Chicago Chapter’s 30th founding anniversary, Sir Al was confirmed with the 4th Degree of the Order – the Knight Grand Officer of Rizal (KGOR) last January 9, 2008.  The sash medal and certificate was confirmed to him by Sir Ely Faypon, KGCR with Sir Felix O. Gonzales, KGOR, Sir Willi Red Buhay, KGOR and Sir Lorenzo Gabaisan, KOR for his decades of continued support and dedication.  This chartered member of the Order of the Knights of Rizal is a shining example for all the Order.
