Sir Alfredo Acierto, KCR of the Chicago Chapter, Illinois, USA is the oldest living Knight of Rizal. He will turn 103 years old on the 30th of October 2006.
He was recently awarded the Distinguished Service Cross of Rizal for being one of the first member of the Order of the Knight of Rizal, Chicago Chapter.  He is a respected community leader, a Commander of the Fil-Am Veterans, 234 Board of Trustees and a Hall of Fame Awardee for Fil-American Historical Society and the Phil-Am Council. He Demonstrated his support for the programs of the Rizal Center including the permanent exhibition of Dr. Jose Rizal’s Last Farewell at the said Center.
The award was personally given by Sir Alfredo by Sir Eli Faypon, KGCR and assisted by Sir Boni Cenir, KGOR as witnessed by the members of the Central USA Council at his residence in Chicago, IL on October 2, 2006.
